My name is shaylee, I’m 22 years old, and I’m originally from the United States. I recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Grand Canyon University, and I’ve spent the past six years working professionally with children. Caring for and supporting children’s development has always been a passion of mine, and it’s something I take great pride in.

I’m currently seeking the opportunity to become an Au Pair & Nanny in Spain because I want to experience the Spanish language and culture in an authentic, immersive way. I believe living with a local family and contributing to the household is the best way to both give and grow. I’m excited to learn Spanish, embrace daily life in Spain, and build genuine relationships through cultural exchange.

Experience

I’ve been working with kids for over six years as a gymnastics coach and activity center manager, and I honestly love it. I’ve worked with children from 18 months up to 15 years old, so I’ve gotten a lot of experience supporting kids through all kinds of stages. Being part of their growth and building those relationships is something that’s really meaningful to me.

Now I’m looking to take that experience abroad, especially to Spain, where I can learn the language and really immerse myself in the culture. I think being an au pair or nanny is the perfect way to do that. It’s not just travel, it’s becoming part of a family and sharing daily life. I’m excited to learn, help out, and grow both personally and professionally through this experience.
