Hello, I'm Rachel. I graduated from University in 2023 and have been saving up to go abroad since. I have experience in teaching and working with children, and I'm currently completing a TEFL level 5 course. I have a passion for education, and the au pair programme has been something I have always been eager to do. I volunteer with a local group of girls aged 7-10 as a part of Girlguiding UK. We help them learn valuable life skills and develop their social skills. For 4 years, while I was studying at university, I worked as a personal tutor for students in the UK studying for their exams. I assisted them in French and Literature studies, and observed significant improvement in all the students I helped. This has inspired me to use my skills abroad, so that I can improve my French proficiency while putting my skills with young people to good use. I have spent time in France before and can speak the language to a good standard.
