Who am I?
I am Katerine Maroto, a freelance lawyer, I am 26 years old, born on October 31, 1997, and I like to celebrate Halloween.
I am a mentally stable girl who is able to understand people. I feel that life is too short to not dare to leave my comfort zone and prove to myself what I am capable of. I have many dreams and goals to fulfill and a great desire to undertake. I feel that the basis of any project is loyalty, commitment and love for what I do.
In a few words, I am a dreamer who wants to work very hard to fulfill her dreams and desires. I know that the road is very hard, but being patient and working hard for what I want is what motivates me.
Why do I want to be an Au Pair?
I want to be an Au Pair because it would be a wonderful experience that I want to experience, to learn about another culture and adapt to it if necessary. In Ecuador everything is very different, a calm and adaptable pace of life for anyone, but the fact of going to another country to be able to learn a different and open-minded culture would be a personal achievement. I feel that I have a lot to contribute to my host family. The Latin community is wonderful, they can learn from me and I can learn from them.
Children have a lot to teach an adult, starting with loyalty and friendship, which is why I have always liked to share with them, teaching them respect and to value what they have.
Nowadays, it is very important to keep them away from technology, since children already know how to use a mobile phone from the womb. At this early age, it is important to dedicate time to develop their motor skills to the maximum and not to make them zombies of technology. I like to play creative and fun games and make their nutritious food look very creative.
Why should the family host you?
I am a responsible, loyal and respectful person, and I will show it every day. I am not looking to be opportunistic, I am looking for an opportunity to learn a lot about their culture. I am grateful for whatever little or much I have, and with the family that gives me the opportunity to have this experience, I will always give my best effort.
Why do you qualify for this position?
I have always believed that my job is my second home. I always try to adapt and give my best.
I am the type of person who says: do it well or don't do it at all! I am trained, I love children and I never get tired of them. I have been working for 5 years taking care of them and I have always been responsible, that is why I am more than qualified for this position.
