☀️Hello future family! My name is Lily, I’m 23, and from the UK. I’m looking for a host family from the end of August 2025 for 6-8 months☀️

❤️ I’m a lively and energetic person who is also kind and caring. I absolutely LOVE working with children, and would love to become a part of a loving family on the east coast of Australia ❤️

?? I have had lots of experience with children from ages 3 to 18. I come from a large family with three younger brothers and many younger cousins, so I have been looking after children my whole life and really understand what it’s like to take on the “big sister” or “second mum” role. I have previously worked as a teaching assistant in a school for a year, worked in a residential summer camp for international children aged 6 to 18, and currently work in a holiday club for children with additional needs and disabilities. I have also been babysitting for many families from the age of 15 and been a childminder for two girls (3 and 5 years old), so I have experience with school drop offs/ pick ups, dinner times, putting children to bed etc ??

I love to be active and outside ?. In my spare time I play hockey ?, football ⚽️, go running ??‍♀️ and like to go hikes and walks ?️. I also enjoy (attempting!) to surf, so being near a beach is a must for me as I’d really like to surf regularly ??‍♀️

?‍? I’m a massive foodie and love to try and eat healthy. I enjoy cooking and baking so happy to cook meals or do bake some sweet treats with the kids ?‍?

? I’m currently studying Sports Science at university and I’ll graduate in July. I’m going to train as a biology teacher in September 2026?

✈️ I’m hoping to go travelling after 6-8 months, so having a roster where I’ll be able to get a second job, or opportunities to earn extra money would be helpful for saving up some money ✈️

✅ Full clean driving license with 5 years experience driving on left hand side
✅ Many years of childcare experience and working with children
✅ Non-smoker
✅ CPR trained, and willing to undergo any other first aid courses
✅ Happy to assist with homework/ schoolwork
✅ Happy to help with other jobs around the house, eg cooking and washing
