Hi, I'm Natascha and I'm currently just 29 years old. I share my life with my fluffy Labrador, Molly. She's turning 12 now and came from the streets of Spain. We saved each other's lives back then, so we have a very special bond. Currently, I don't know how long she'll be able to stay by my side, as she's also quite old now. I'm originally from Bern, the capital of Switzerland, and I also work in this canton. I've already achieved a lot in my life and am a trained cook, a qualified store detective, and studied to become an occupational therapist. I've worked as an occupational therapist, temporarily in a children's home, in a prison, in a workshop with people with disabilities, and now I work for the Salvation Army, working with the long-term unemployed.

I was in Tokyo for 11 days in December 2025 and fell completely in love with the country and its people. I realized that something was missing in Switzerland. The attitude to life, customs, simply everything, blew me away in Japan. So disciplined and a wonderful language. I'll be coming back to Japan this year (2025), from the end of November to the beginning of January, and my goal is to explore a longer stay and gather more information. This might include a language school, a job, and accommodation. It would be nice to come there for half a year or a whole year to see if I could imagine living there. That's why an au pair stay might be a fantastic idea. It's important to me to learn the language, to be able to integrate and adapt. It would be great to have support from locals. Japan is so far ahead of so many other countries, I have a lot of respect for that!

The host family can benefit from someone who is a bit older and brings a lot of life experience and knowledge. I'm also happy to share my German language skills. I can drive and have run my own household since I was 22.

I would be delighted to be a part of it and would love to absorb all the knowledge that can be shared with me.
