A bit of my background so you know about me: At the age of 12, I began volunteering and serving in my community through various non-profit organizations. I am an empathetic person who always seeks justice and aims to improve the quality of life for those in need in any way I can contribute. I grew up in a home where my mother had to raise us alone, thus spending most of her time working. I always took care of my younger sister, even as a child, as we are only 5 years apart. I learned to change diapers, manage stressful situations, and conflicts. I comforted her about the future and found ways, through my imagination and creativity, to give her motivation, dreams, and a good childhood despite being alone at home most of the time and with limited resources. This is how I developed a maternal, protective, and alert instinct that allowed me to take care of my sister and cousin when needed. My grandmother was a significant figure before she got sick and passed away. She taught me valuable life lessons, such as cooking, taking care of a baby, plants, and myself, and how to overcome adversity.

I am confident that these qualities within me are of great value, and therefore, I believe I am a good prospect for any family that chooses me. I am a fast learner, resilient, and adaptable to sudden changes. I enjoy learning in all aspects and want to leave a positive legacy in the lives of those I meet, just as my grandmother did with me, some teachers in my schools, and my mother.

I fight for children's rights so that they can have a good future and a dignified and happy life without having to go through the battles I faced alone. I believe it is always important to have a support person when one is a child, someone they can trust and who is always there for them, and I consider myself suitable for that role.
