Letter to the family

Hello, lovely families! :)

I’m Pía, I’m 33, with dual Chilean and Italian nationality. I speak Spanish, English and Italian. I studied Law in my country, but I decided not to practice my profession and instead to embark on a nomadic life. Since then, I have been traveling around the world, looking for job opportunities that allow me to remain in an environment of cultural exchange and learning.

Currently, I am living in Italy during this 2025, but I must admit that I miss the United States so much! And also all this movement (necessary for the nomad) and the wonderful dynamic of changing country, discovering new societies, learning or practicing languages, and enriching myself with new experiences ☺️

I have always been characterized by being at the service of others, something that I truly love to do. I consider myself charismatic, proactive, positive, protective, honest and very grateful. For me, discipline is essential: I enjoy planning, being responsible, taking care of rules and safety. However, I am also spontaneous and creative, able to adapt myself to any change or circumstance that may arise. I'm a problem solver. Guaranteed!

About my environment and values: I grew up in a family with many values and I maintain a very close relationship with my parents and siblings. The most important thing in my life is God, and I feel blessed for every experience I have lived, even those that are not always easy. I firmly believe that everything that happens has a greater purpose and I strive to learn something valuable in each stage.

That is how I see life: with gratitude, joy and the certainty that we can always build something positive :)

Experience

My strongest work experiences as an au pair and in the care of adults and children have been, in fact, in the United States. Specifically, I worked with an adult with reduced mobility, whom I accompanied with household tasks, served, provided company, and helped with daily exercises. I also took care of two children, and to this day that whole family has become like my own: we even vacationed together here in Italy after my work with them.

These experiences can be verified with total joy and confidence!

I truly love working with people. That’s why I also have plenty of work experience in customer service and similar areas, which has given me strong skills in communication, patience, and problem-solving. But honestly… nothing compares to the joy of a close and family-like bond. That’s where my heart feels the happiest and where I can give the best of myself.
