Letter to the family
Dear future host family,
My name is Anet, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as a potential Au Pair and Nanny for your family.
I am 24 years old and come from Czech Republic. I am currently finishing my Bachelor degree in Korean studies at Charles university in Prague. By the time I´ll be able to come I will be all done with my studies of course . I have always wanted to experience working with children, and I am excited about the opportunity to become a part of your family as au pair and contribute to your children’s growth and happiness while immersing myself in your culture. I am responsible, friendly, easy going and enthusiastic individual with a strong commitment to childcare. My background includes experience with children of various ages in some extend. In addition I enjoy travelling, taking pictures, reading, cooking, listening to music. I love attending concerts and dancing also most recently I am enjoying crocheting, I always enjoyed arts & crafts, which I hope can be a somewhat an addition to the activities I can share with your children. I love korean culture and food. I was in Korea in 2022 and absolutely loved it there and I would love to come back and stay for longer this time around.
Why I Want to Become an Au Pair & Nanny?
My aspiration to become an Au Pair is driven by my desire to combine my adoration for children with my passion for cultural exchange and travelling. I believe that living with a host family offers a unique opportunity to form meaningful connections, learn from each other, and create lasting memories. I am eager to contribute to your family life, support your children’s development, and learn from your traditions and way of life.
Why You Should Host Me:
Hosting me as your Au Pair means welcoming a dedicated caregiver into your home. I am committed to help you with anything children’s well-being and happiness oriented, and I am adaptable to your family’s needs and routines. My positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile will help create a harmonious and supportive household. I am also excited to share my own cultural experiences and perhaps even language, providing your children with a broader world view. I do study Korean language as well but right now I am very unsure of my capability to speak the language so I would really appreciate your understanding with me being shy in that regard. I would love to attend some language course while staying to improve my skill.
Why I Qualify for the Position:
Although I do not have formal experience as an Au Pair, I have spent significant time caring for children in my personal life. I have frequently babysat for my mom's friends' children and my younger brother, where I was responsible for organizing fun and educational activities, supervising playtime, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Even tho I don´t have former education nor certifications in the field of childcare, I did first aid course but I believe I am equipped with the necessary skills to provide high-quality care and handle various childcare situations with confidence. Additionally, my fluency in english allows me to communicate effectively and can enrich your children’s learning experience.
I am eager to bring my dedication, skills, and enthusiasm to your family, and I am confident that I can be a valuable addition to your household. Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the possibility of contributing to your family and creating wonderful memories together.
Warm regards,
Anet
