Claire (19 / Ms. ), French & Colombian, Waiter/Waitress living in France looking for Au Pair & Nanny job in Colombia for 6-24 Months

My name is Claire, I'm 19 years old and I'll be 20 on December 24th. I'm Colombian by origin but adopted at the age of 6 months (so still a baby) by my French parents. I've always lived in France, grew up, and learned in Narbonne in the south of France. I have one older brother, Alexandre, who is 3 years apart in age, and is also Colombian and adopted. After living in France for 20 years, I'm finally embarking on a journey to discover my home country, to experience its culture and history with my own eyes. I'd like to step out of my comfort zone, push myself, and make myself useful. I'm a very discreet person at first, then when I'm comfortable, I'm a little lively, but always honest, devoted, helpful, and loyal (at least that's the feedback I get from my loved ones, haha). I like my peace and quiet from time to time. I like the family spirit, the bond that unites each member of a family, and the love that grows over time. I like to be of service, I like to be present, to make people happy, and to feel useful. I don't have a little brother or sister, but I like taking care of children, that feeling of taking care of them, of helping them, of listening to them, of analyzing...
I qualify for the position of au pair because I really enjoy taking care of children and creating moments of sharing and learning with them. I am a responsible, patient, and creative person who knows how to adapt easily to new situations and another culture. In addition, I have a real desire to discover Colombian culture, to learn the language and to share mine with the family who will host me. I think that this experience will be enriching for the children as well as for me, and I am motivated to fully involve myself in this role.
