Rita (21 / Ms. ), Italian, Student living in Italy looking for Au Pair job in Australia & Japan for 1-3 Months

Dear host family,

I am Rita and I am a girl coming from a big family in the italian countryside, currently pursuing a degree in English and Japanese language and literature at Florence University.

Today, my lifelong passion for both cultures and languages has brought me here. After my love for Italian, English, French, German language and literature (which I studied throughout highschool), I have also been struck by Japanese literature, along with its beautiful (and difficult) Kanji. So much that I decided to pursue it and make it my main study focus.

Now I am eager to come into contact with Japanese culture, cuisine, landscapes but most of all, its people. I wish to learn the ABCs of Japanese day-to-day life and participate actively in it and I believe family is the perfect place to do so.

I have a large family and have grown up always surrounded by my six little cousins. Spending time with them is how I've realised the importance of patience, kindness and hard work. I also know how important childhood is to learn respect and how much it can change a child's life. That is why I do not underestimate this job and its hardship.
