Letter to the family

My name is Tessa and I’m from New Zealand. I have approximately four years’ experience working full-time as a nanny and I have been babysitting since I was 14.
I have a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and psychology. I’m hoping to come to Perth for summer to au pair and visit family before returning to New Zealand to begin postgraduate study in psychotherapy.
I love creating a fun and safe environment for children. My favourite thing about nannying is learning, playing and having fun. I also enjoy trying to make life as easy as possible for the parents I work for.
I have a Red Cross first aid certificate, a full NZ driver’s license and have experience volunteering at the Youthline mental health helpline. I have worked for a range of different of families and cared for children of a variety of different ages. I get great feedback from the families I work for and can provide references.
