Work abroad in Matthias's family for 12-18 Months starting from Sep 2025 as an Au Pair to take care of 2 children of 1 - 5 years old & 6 - 10 years old in Ahrensburg, Schleswig-Holstein Germany

Dear Aupair,

we are a Family of 4 loving enjoying life, meeting friends, do outdoor activities and discover the world. We live in a house with a nice garden just outside the big city of Hamburg (https://www.fotowelt-hamburg.de/hamburg-bilder.html) in North Germany between the North Sea and Baltic Sea. 250 Meter away is underground train access station to Hamburg (city centre 35 Min) and 10 Min by foot is the fast train where you get in 20 Min to the city centre. Our home town Ahrensburg (https://www.ahrensburg.de/) is a lovely with all shops you need and very beautiful pedestrian zone. German Capital Berlin is just 2.5 hours away by train.

We are 4 in our household with two little boys aged 2,5 and 4,5 right now. From a former marriage their is another son 14 years old but not permantently living with us. In our house you would have an own sleeping room with TV, WLAN, a big cupboard, own bath room and even a separate entrance through the basement external door. Mother Friederike is 45 years old and part time working as a lawyer; Father Matthias is 46 and working as a Marketing Manager at the multinational company Unilever. Both ca. 50% working from home.

We search for a very caring and friendly person looking after our two sons; helping with getting started into the day, preparing breakfast and dinner for them & taking them from and to the kindergarten by Bus. At home you play with them or read a book after 16.00 during the week and help to bring them to bed. Weekends are usually free but here and then we might go out at evenings and would ask you to watch the children. Some household care help we would also ask you to do.

During the week between 08.30 and 15.30 you can do all possible sports around here, riding the bike in the woods or leanring rowing or sailing on the lakes. Various German language schools are reachable within 1 hour by public transport.
