I am looking for an AuPair to help me due to recently being a single parent. I would like to keep working full time, so need someone during the day to look after the children before and after school Monday to Friday. Also to help out at the weekends if needed.

School days would involve getting the children ready for school in the mornings (as I leave at 7am), giving breakfast and making packed lunches. They will then need dropping off at school which is a 5 minute walk from the house.

Whilst the children are at school, I would be grateful for some help with some housework, such as washing, cleaning and clearing up after the kids in the morning.

About 3.15pm the children will need to be picked up from school (sometimes a bit later if they have clubs). I would appreciate the children having some interactive time with the AuPair, such as playing games, reading and doing homework. Most nights the kids will need dinner cooking for them. I normally arrive home between 4.30 and 6pm. If I do get home early, I can also help with the children.

I am at home at the weekends, so will normally take responsibility for the kids. I would however like a day or 2 off during the month, so would like to leave the kids with the AuPair so I can get a break. The children’s father also has them frequently.

Although I am after an AuPair, I want you to feel part of the family, and comfortable living with me and my children. At present I am only able to offer £400-500 a month depending on the hours and level of support I receive. I am however able to offer time off when the kids are not at school. As a teacher, I do normally get the same time off as my children. We can negotiate the weeks off, and holiday pay if applicable. This would also give the AuPair time to visit family and friends as I know you will be missing them and home.
