Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear Future Au Pair,

We are delighted to introduce ourselves as a loving and busy family of six members. Our family includes two older boys, aged 7 and 9 who are in school, a delightful 4-year-old daughter who stays at home, and one little daughter who is 1 year old. My husband and I run a construction business, so I am a working mum, but my priority is always my children.

Our three children are incredibly well-behaved and have beautiful natures. They thrive on love and attention, making our home a joyful and harmonious place. Most of the time, I am at home with the kids, but there will be occasions when I need to attend meetings or manage tasks related to our business. During these times, your support and care for our children will be invaluable.

We live on a charming mini-farm on the outskirts of town, just a 5-minute drive from the center. Our home offers a peaceful environment with plenty of space for the children to play and explore. We value a strong family network and believe in nurturing our children's development at home, which is why our 4-year-old daughter does not attend daycare.

As a family, we love to spend time together, especially on holidays. We are excited about our beach unit under construction on the Gold Coast in Queensland, which will be ready by the beginning of next year. The beach is one of our favorite destinations as there are endless activities for the kids to enjoy, and we cherish these moments of fun and relaxation.

We are looking for an au pair who is kind, responsible, and enthusiastic about being part of our family. Your role will include helping with the children's daily routines, engaging in fun and educational activities, maintaining the house cleaning and cooking healthy meals for the kids, but most important, providing a loving presence when we are not at home. In return, we promise to make you feel welcome and appreciated, and we look forward to sharing many wonderful experiences together.

Responsibilities:

Childcare: Assist with the daily care of our children, including playing, educational activities, and ensuring they are happy and safe.
Cleaning: Help maintain a tidy and organized home by taking care of daily cleaning tasks.
Cooking: Prepare simple and healthy meals for the family. Don't worry, we don't expect gourmet dishes!
Play and Education: Engage with the children in fun and educational activities to foster their growth and development.
Love and Nurture: Most importantly, provide a loving and nurturing environment for our children.
