Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello and welcome to our family!

We are Camille, Aleks, Anna, Pia, Nina, and Kinga.

We are a multilingual family of 6 with four girls 10, 8, 6, and 1). We live in a big house with a garden in Brussels, and speak French and Polish at home. The parents also speak English (our secret language until the girls pick it up), Camille speaks basic Spanish and Aleks basic German.

After an amazing experience with our previous au pair, last year, we are looking to have someone fill her shoes for the upcoming school year (at least until Christmas) to help mostly with the three bigger girls during the school year.

Job Description

We are looking to have someone for at least 3-4 months but ideally for the entire school year to help with the three oldest girls.

This would involve making sure homework is done, playing games or doing crafts with them, help to go to and from extracurricular activities, helping with preparing meals for them (we have to provide lunchboxes for school everyday) and maybe some light housework like putting away children's clothes (we also have a housekeeper and a girl to help after school). We may also ask occasionally for help with some of the school runs.

Accommodation

We live in a big house in a nice neighborhood, with easy access to public transportation (tram and bus stops 2 minutes from home) as well as walking distance to shops, restaurants, and parks. The house has a small garden where we eat and barbecue in the summer.

The au pair will have a room with a private bathroom that are located on a different floor than the other bedrooms, allowing for privacy.

There is wifi in the house.

We also have a piano at home and Anna is learning to play.
