Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear future au pair,

We are a warm and lively French speaking family of four living in Belgium. Charlotte and I are both doctors, and we have two children: Gustave, born in April 2021, and Suzanne, born in January 2024. We’re also hoping to welcome a third child into our family in 2026.

With our busy work schedules, we are looking for a caring and responsible au pair to help us with daily routines—mainly bringing the children to and from school or daycare, and preparing their meals. You would not be expected to do general housework, just help with the kitchen tasks related to the children.

You will have your own private apartment with a separate kitchen and bathroom. The only shared space is a living room/study that Charlotte and I occasionally use for work.
