Caddebostan is also very well connected to the rest of the city. From here, you can easily reach many of Istanbul’s top language schools by train, boat, or bus. Whether you want to study Turkish, improve your English, or learn another language, you’ll find plenty of options within easy reach.

We are a warm and open family, and we are also very well connected in Istanbul — so if you ever need advice, help with arrangements, or local recommendations, you can count on us. We’ll do our best to help you feel settled and make the most of your time here.

Job Description

The Au Pair & Live-in Tutor will focus on engaging, educating, and entertaining our son outside of school hours, as well as providing occasional babysitting when parents are out. The role is child-focused only — we have a cleaner, housemaid, and driver, so no household or out of home duties are required.

Main Responsibilities:

- Collect or welcome our son home after school (if needed)
- Organize and supervise after-school activities such as:
Reading practice
Arts & crafts
Mathematics and educational games
Creative play and outdoor activities
Plan fun and stimulating activities for weekends when he is free from extracurricular classes
Provide babysitting 1–2 evenings per week when parents are out for dinner or short trips
Support a positive, encouraging, and safe environment for learning and play

Working Hours
- Weekdays: Afternoons and early evenings after school
- Weekends: Flexible, depending on our son’s schedule and family plans
- Babysitting: 1–2 times a week in the evening

Ideal Candidate
- Some experience in childcare, teaching, or tutoring young children
- Creative, energetic, and proactive in planning activities
- Fluent in English (additional languages a plus)
- Warm, patient, and adaptable to an international family environment
