Hello everyone,

We are a young couple living in the Swiss countryside town of Crassier (~20 minutes from Geneva), and are the happy parents of two young children aged 3 and 1. We are looking for a dynamic, responsible au pair who takes initiative and is passionate about caring for children and supporting their development.

Here are a few things to know about us:

A) About where we live:
Crassier is a charming village in the Canton of Vaud, near the French border and close to Geneva. The surroundings are peaceful and scenic, with the Jura mountains in the background, plenty of green spaces, and proximity to Lake Geneva. There is good public transport, but driving is helpful. We live in a 5-bedroom house, and the au pair will have a large, private bedroom in a separate part of the house.

B) Family setup:
We are both working parents, working either remotely or from home, and our two children attend daycare.

C) What you will do:
We are looking for an au pair to help care for the children while we manage our demanding full-time jobs. This includes helping get the kids ready for daycare, picking them up if needed, taking them on walks, and playing with them during weekends and school holidays. The au pair will also assist with general household chores (e.g., cleaning, tidying up, grocery shopping). We consider the au pair an extension of the family, and it is important to us to maintain quality time with our children while receiving meaningful support.

D) What we are looking for in an au pair:
We are looking for someone with prior experience caring for young children, ideally with references from previous families. A kind, and trustworthy person who genuinely enjoys being around kids is essential. A valid driving license is a plus, as it provides flexibility for errands or outings with the children. Basic cooking skills and a willingness to contribute to household tasks are also appreciated. You should have a good conversational level in English (some French is helpful) and have a good open-minded attitude toward family life and routines.

E) Additional details:
We are looking for the au pair to start as soon as possible, for a minimum duration of 6 months, ideally longer. We offer attractive compensation in line with Swiss standards, along with full room and board.
