Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are very happy to welcome you into our family! We are a family of four living in Dundee: two parents (Giulia and Davide), our daughter who is 5 years old, and our son who is 2 years old.

Our home is not in the city centre, but it is easy to reach by bus. We hope you will feel comfortable here and enjoy both family life with us and the opportunity to explore Dundee and Scotland during your stay.

Your main role will be to support us in looking after our children. This will include helping with school pick-ups and drop-offs, and if you have a driving licence, bringing them to their physical activities. Both of our children are lively and curious, and we are excited for you to share in their growth and daily routines.

We also hope this will be a wonderful cultural exchange for you. Dundee offers many opportunities to learn English, and the local council provides free access to some courses. We will be happy to support you in finding the right opportunities to improve your language skills and to experience life in Scotland.

Above all, we want you to feel at home with us. Please always feel free to communicate openly—we value kindness, respect, and sharing. We are looking forward to learning about your culture too, and we believe this will be a rewarding experience for everyone.
