Work abroad in Birgit's family for 10-24 Months starting from Oct 2025 as an Au Pair to take care of 1 children of 1 - 5 years old in Ebrach, Bavaria Germany

Main tasks
Your most important mission: To bring Ada to and from daycare safely! Ada is at kindergarten on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., which gives you plenty of time for German lessons or your own activities. After daycare, Ada becomes a creative whirlwind, and that's where you come in: playing, crafting, making up stories, or simply admiring her latest baby cat performance.
Additional Tasks
Phil's little computers want to conquer the world – and to do so, they need help at the post office! You can greatly support us by occasionally taking packages to the mailbox or the post office. Birgit appreciates some company when she goes shopping (especially if someone is there to stop Ada from smuggling all the sweets into the cart).
Although we have a cleaning lady, we still expect our home not to descend into complete chaos. We value basic order and cleanliness very much – no one has to spend hours cleaning, but if everyone helps, it stays cozy for everyone.
Optional Activities
Our large garden offers endless opportunities for those who enjoy outdoor activities! Whether planting vegetables, weeding, or simply helping Ada dig – if you feel like gardening, there's always something to do. But don't worry: it's not a must, it's an option!
You are warmly invited to join us on family outings. Whether it's a hike in the Steigerwald, a stroll through Bamberg, or a visit to a Franconian beer garden – we welcome company and you'll get to know Germany in the process.
Expectations and Skills
We are looking for someone who appreciates Ada's energy and creativity and can patiently handle a four-year-old explorer. It's important to us that you are reliable, responsible, and flexible. Phil's calm nature and Birgit's scientific curiosity are a good fit for someone who is open to different personalities.
It would be perfect if you enjoy playing with children, enjoy being outdoors, and don't panic when Ada decides she wants to be a princess today.n-Pirate Cat. Basic knowledge of German or English is helpful, but don't worry—Ada will be happy to help you learn (she very patiently explains how to pronounce "baby cat" correctly).
