Dear future au pair,

My name is Yasmin, and my husband and I are expecting our first child (a girl) in July 2025.

Since we both work very hard, we need help caring for our daughter starting in April 2026. We would be happy if you could look after her 40-45 hours a week.

We also have two very sweet dogs who enjoy being walked from time to time (but it's not a priority!).

We live in the town of Heppenheim. It's a small town south of Darmstadt (about 30 km away), south of Frankfurt (about 60 km away), and north of Mannheim and Heidelberg (about 30 km away). There are several language schools nearby. We would be happy to pay for a German language course if you'd like.

Regarding accommodation: You wouldn't live directly in our home, but in your own small apartment nearby (also in Heppenheim). In principle, we can provide you with a small car or bicycle so that you can get around independently.

What's very important to us: I'm half-Spanish (my father was Spanish), and it's important to us that you speak only Spanish with our daughter and me. My husband is German. You can speak English or German with him.

We have our second home in Marbella (southern Spain) and we visit several times a year. If we travel to Spain, we would of course take you with us so that you can spend time with us in Marbella.

You'll have weekday evenings and weekends free. We're also happy to do things together (such as a trip to Frankfurt, dining out, etc.).
