Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello, my name is Hande. I’m 36 years old and currently work remotely for a bank called European Merchant Bank. My husband is 42 and works as a banker at Deutsche Bank in Istanbul.

We have a 5-year-old son who will be starting preschool this year, where he will begin learning German. We are very eager for him to improve both his German and English skills, so language exposure is important for us.

Our home is conveniently located near the city center. There is a bus stop right across the street, and the nearest underground station is about a 30-minute walk away.

Job Description

From household tasks, we expect some light help — mainly basic things like helping with the dishes after dinner. Nothing heavy or demanding.

Our biggest wish is for our son to learn German and English in a natural and fun way. So after he returns from school, we would love the au pair to spend time with him — playing together, engaging in conversation, and helping with any simple homework assignments if needed.
