Hi. We are a couple age 68/79 living in a villa outside of Oslo, Norway. Just 10 minutes by bus to Oslo city center. We are highly educated people with many years of university education. The wife suffered a stroke 35 years ago, and as the husband is living in Marbella, Spain for 2-3 months at a time 3 times a year, help is needed in his absence but also when he is here as he has problems with his knees and his back and therefore is not able to do much physical work. The wife does not need much personal help. But help is needed with general household duties, shopping and food preparation ( not nescessary as we presently have food delivered and its prepared by the nurses for the wife(, taking care of clothes, light garden work etc. It’s not a stressing job. We would prefer someone who likes Cooking but this is not a requirement. We offer nice accommodation and fair salary in compliance with Norwegian law. The position is only live in.
It’s of course no children to care for.
The position is ideal for a student as there is not much work involved. For your information we are expecting a Filipino aupair with whom we have a contract to arrive after she has got her visa to Norway. Because of the Covid situation we do not her for several months. Maybe in the summer of 2022. But you can still stay with us performing less work and staying for free after she has arrived.
You must speak good english. You must have a visa for Norway (Not required for EU citizens).
We lastly had an aupair from Manila who however now has left since her visa expired. Before her we had 2 other Filipino girls who were students staying with us in total for 4 years. These 2 girls can be a reference about us.
Payment and benefits can be discussed. We are also flexible regarding the period of staying with us. We are also very flexible as to the tasks to be performed as we have good help from community nurses 4 times a day. We also have garden help and other help when needed. Its not a requirement that you are a filipina as long as your english is good :-)
Wife is at a daycenter 2 times a week. Community nurses visits the house 4 times a day to give out medicine and prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner for the wife.
