Work abroad in Esmiralda's family for 10-12 Months starting from Feb 2025 as an Au Pair to take care of 1 children of 1 - 5 years old in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia Germany

We are a small family. Our family consists of Sammy, Esmiralda and our son David, who turned 3 in November. Esmiralda works in management at a bank and is mostly working from home, Sammy works in a managerial position at IKEA. Since we both work full time, we are looking for a loving au pair who will enjoy letting our son discover the world. David goes to kindergarten during the day until 4:30 p.m., so we mainly need help in the mornings and afternoons. David is a very active boy who loves puzzles, books and singing and learns very quickly.

We love cooking and eating, laughing a lot, spending our evenings on the sofa, but we also like to travel and often meet up with family and friends or invite them home. Sammy also loves Lego and his creations are scattered all over the apartment. We are Jewish and live traditionally, for example we don't eat pork. The candidate will therefore have the opportunity to get to know a new religion. We speak German at home, but Esmiralda speaks only Russian with our son.

We live in the west of Cologne in a very green and upscale area, our apartment is well connected to the public transport network with several stations in the area. In 20 minutes you can be in the city center. We also have several forests nearby and also the largest shopping center in Cologne. Cologne is one of the largest cities in Germany, so you can find everything you need here. In our large 4-room apartment there will be a private 11m2 room available, see also photo of the room.

We pay the 280€ pocket money set by the employment agency, cover the costs of a language course at the adult education center in the center of Cologne (twice a week in the mornings) and the costs of the Germany ticket for public transport, health insurance and a SIM card with unlimited internet. Since our au pairs are always part of our family, they naturally come with us on vacation and on trips. Our last au pair, for example, was with us in Berlin, Zurich, Amsterdam and Spain and on many day trips. We also help with all administrative matters, such as opening an account, applying for a residence permit, preparing documents for training/study/voluntary social year.

We will be looking for our fifth au pair in April 2025 at the earliest.
