Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are looking for a new au pair starting in September 2025. Our son has just turned 3, his mom is French and his daddy is Italian. We have 2 years of experience living with two wonderful au pairs who took great care of our son.

You will have your own room with an en-suite bathroom. You will be taking care of our son during the week, including breakfast, nursery drop-off, pick-up, dinner, bath and sleep routine. Some household chores will also be required.

Our son is 3 and he attends a nearby nursery school during the week. He speaks English, Italian and French. Ideally, our pair will be a native Italian speaker and will speak Italian to our son.

Our au pair will ideally be an Italian speaker. Ideally already based in London, UK and with au pair / child minding / child care experience. We offer and expect flexibility.

Job Description

We expect our au-pair to take care of our son, that is morning (approx. 7.30am to 9am) and late afternoon (5.30pm to 8.30pm) during the week. We may ask our au pair to take care of our son for short periods of time during the weekend, always with sufficient notice. We provide and expect flexibility. We will provide pocket money, amount to be agreed.
