OUT DAILY ROUTINE

In the mornings we get up shortly before 7am to start the day with Coffee and Tea for us, muesli for the kids and then prepare the lunch boxes for kindergarden/ school.
Hanno leaves for school shortly before 8 - we/ you will drive him (we have a separate car for these trips) and Mariola enters kindergarten between 8 and 9 am.
School ends at 16:15/ Kindergarten around 15:00 o‘clock - and this is the time where we would also need a loving hand in supervising / playing with the kids.
We have super lovely neighbors with other families and the kids play a lot together in the afternoons.
Hanno plays soccer and has training two times a week, Mariola is in a gym-class once a week where we join other families to share the logistics.
We come together in the evening for all to have a joint evening meal - usually Constanze or I cook a meal for all plus a little salat for us adults.
When finished we check the time and if still early we have started to play some card games that Hanno is getting interested in before bed-time routine sets in so they put on their pijamans, tooth brushing and the Constanze or I usually read a bedtime story.

On the weekends / or if one of us is on a business trip - they are allowed so watch a little series on the TV/mobile (currently “little dragons and paw patrol” are the favorites :) )

DUTIES AND CONDITIONS

During the week we would like you to get up with us and start the day together, help with the kids to get them ready and then kindergarten / school drop-offs.
Then usually our AuPairs had their language courses and in the afternoon helped us with the pick-up and playing with them until we come together all again to have dinner (usually around 6pm).
If you like to cook you are invited to also do that here and we can all take turns in preparing dinner.
Regarding help for housekeeping - this would cover smaller tasks that Constanze and I also do around the house (dishwasher, washing machine, tidy up after a play session, helping the kids to tidy up their rooms, taking the garbage out, vacuum underneath the table after sushi take out and all the rice lands underneath the table ;) , and such activities we all do to feel good at home).
For the thorough cleaning of the rest of the house we have someone that comes in regularly, and we leave your room and bathroom to your own needs to keep it tidy as you feel fit.

As mentioned we will provide you with all the food that we also buy for ourselves - if you’d have any dietary requirements (e.g. our current AuPair is lactose intolerant) - we also consider that and buy separate things as needed.

In the contract we will state that you have two days off per week (Saturday / Sunday) and the regular 30h of help around the family. You’ll have your separate room and bathroom.

On a monthly basis we will pay you the pocket money (280€), the transportation ticket (65€/DeutschlandTicket), and support you with 10€ for any mobile/communication costs. In our home all rooms have WiFi.

We also support you with your language course - minimum the 70€ - and depending on the overall costs we have also covered more in the past as we know that living (and enjoying the city live) is not cheap in Germany / Munich.

Maybe once a month, Constanze and I would like to go out just the two of us to have dinner / go to the theater — so once the kids would feel comfortable with you we’d like to ask you to help us and be with them for an evening.

ANYTHING ELSE

We don’t follow any dietary regimens, try to buy as much biologically grown / cultivated food and regularly try out new things that Constanze reads about or finds during a shopping session in the grocery shop.

We really try to find a good balance between the aupair tasks while integrating a new family member and rely on also our Aupair to be proactively seeking where support with the kids is needed while at the same time looking for his/her free time to be well taken to learn the language, meeting friends, discovering the city/country, etc.
