Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hi! We live in Malibu, it’s part of Los Angeles but by the seaside and mountains. Very beautiful, nice and small yet close to it all of the big city. We are a very kind, well traveled and inclusive family. We respect whatever the au pair wants to do, as long as it doesn’t upset the care of the children. Our main goal in the au pair is just to give constant language exposure to the kids, as we have a full time nanny and all kids in school 8am-5pm. We do all have a helpful attitude and we expect that even though we won’t rely on the au pair for chores that they take care of their space and pitch in when possible. We are very generous with our time, energy and money, so hope the au pair will appreciate the great attitude and be appreciative of the experience! Looking forward to hosting!

Job Description

Mainly language exposure for the children, but help for me and the nanny with the kids/kid related chores is great. Otherwise free to do as they would like as long as it doesn’t disrupt life. Maybe could lead to a longer term job in the future!
