Hello! We are excited to welcome an au pair into our home for a cultural child care experience, whether you’re from somewhere else in Canada or from abroad. We live in a renovated townhouse with a nice sized backyard and within close proximity to parks, schools, toddler/baby programs, community pool, and shopping. We visit Kelowna twice per month to visit family which is just over a one-hour drive away. Kelowna is a metropolitan area and is also well known for lakes and beaches in summer and skiing in winter. Merritt offers a small town vibe and is known for music festivals, ranching, camping and exploring the great outdoors in summer and snow sports in the winter. I’m currently on a leave of absence to care for the children and will return to work from home full time in May 2026. I’m looking for flexible childcare so I can complete a few projects around the house this summer and to socialize the children with other local families until permanent spots open up in the local daycare (it’s very competitive). The au pair will have plenty of free time to explore the local area and travel/sightsee.
