My name is Dan, a single dad living in Moranbah, Queensland, with my 2-year-old son, Casey. I work a 7-on, 7-off roster, and during my 7 days on, I am home every night caring for Casey. I’m looking for an au pair to support me during these days by helping with Casey’s routine and activities.

Casey is a lively and happy toddler who loves swimming, books, music, and spending time outdoors. He has a consistent daily routine that includes daycare and fun activities.

?️ Your Work Week (Wednesday to Tuesday, every second week)

You’ll work alongside me during my 7 days on, assisting with care and daily routines, mainly during the day:
• Wednesday – 6:00am–7:30am & 4:30pm–7:00pm (daycare 7:30am–4:30pm)
• Thursday – 6:00am–7:30am & 4:30pm–7:00pm (daycare 7:30am–4:30pm)
• Friday – Full day (6:00am–7:00pm)
• Saturday – Full day (6:00am–6:00pm)
• Sunday – Off
• Monday – 6:00am–7:30am & 4:30pm–7:00pm (daycare 7:30am–4:30pm)
• Tuesday – Full day (6:00am–7:00pm)

⏱️ Total: 50 hours per fortnight (25 hours per calendar week)
? Pocket money: $225/week (negotiable)

I work a 7-on, 7-off roster, and while I’m working those 7 days, I am home every night. You won’t be caring for Casey alone — your role is to support me during the day by helping with his routine and activities, so I can manage work commitments and study. We’ll work as a team to keep Casey’s days structured and fun.

• Remote town in Queensland
• Walking distance to shops, library, daycare, and pool
• No driver’s licence needed, but car available
• 3-bedroom fully air-conditioned home (shared bathroom)

Moranbah is a regional area for Working Holiday Visa purposes. There are hospitality jobs you can do during your 7 days off to help with your 88-day visa requirement. I’m happy to support you with this.
