Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We’re a relaxed, easy-going family of four (plus one cat!) living in Naas (about 45 minutes from Dublin) . Alan is a chef, June is a financial analyst, and our daughters Bow (2) and Lana (5) are full of energy and fun. We speak English at home and have had wonderful experiences with Spanish and Italian au pairs in the past. Our current au pair is returning home in October, and we’re looking for someone to join us for six months or more. (negotiable )
What We’re Looking For:
A caring, responsible au pair who enjoys spending time with young children and is happy to help with light household tasks. Ideally, someone who enjoys being part of a family and is open to joining the local au pair community (there’s a WhatsApp group and regular meetups!).

Job Description

Weekday Routine (Monday–Friday)

Morning (wake up when the girls do 6.45AM/7AM
• Make breakfast, dressing the girls, and packing lunch
• Drop Lana to the school bus stop at 8:30 AM (2-minute walk)
• Drop Bow to crèche at 9:30 AM (2-minute walk)
Midday:
• Light housework while Bow is at crèche (3 hours):
• Tidy Lana and Bow’s rooms
• Wash the girls clothes + Put away clothes
• Organize toys and prepare a simple activity for Bow when she returns
• Pick Bow up at 12:30 PM and give her a light lunch
Afternoon:
• Pick Lana up from the bus stop at 2:15 PM
• Finish time: 3:00 PM

We’re hoping to find someone who is:

Caring and genuinely enjoys spending time with children
Playful and creative with activities
Tidy and organized
Able to multitask and manage a daily routine
