Work abroad in Abby's family for 12-24 Months starting from Oct 2025 as an Au Pair and Nanny to take care of 1 children of 0 - 1 year old & 1 - 5 years old in Cleveland, Ohio USA

You’re either off 1 and 1/2 days a week or 2 days off a week, but now that my daughter is in school you are free from work between the hours of 8:30 to 2:45. We also need someone who is flexible with changes in their schedule because of my school and husband’s work changes. We have had no issues with this with our current aupair and your days off is usually always the same Sunday and Mondays off and once a month your weekend off.
There will be cleaning in areas my daughter have toys, but since I don’t have a huge home, you would not be overburdened with cleaning.
I prefer someone who can cook or follow a recipe book (my current aupair cooks no more than 2x per week).

You must love walking or be active, I would prefer an aupair who is very good at communication, and speaks to my daughter in Russian 95% of the time. You must be clean and like to keep things tidy especially your room, have a friendly personality. You must be smart, independent, a good listener, be able to manage task and following instructions. You also must be able to remember things or take notes, add items to the shopping list, follow a schedule, actively play with my daughter and read to her a lot as she love books.

It is very important to me that I do not have to be tell my aupair to clean her room, or remind you of things like keeping my daughter’s bedroom and play area clean. Because I’m also going to be juggling school and work i don’t want to be micromanaging you on how you should do your job. So if you’re a person who cannot take charge and always need micromanaging then this will not work. You will have a list to help you follow the schedule and understand how our home is run so being a self starter is best. I am very patient, but after 3 months with us, you should be fully independent in our household.
I am the one in charge of my household and I have an easy going personality so all questions relating to the house and my daughter must be addressed to me.

Our home is colonial style so it is not modern but has a 1900 charm. So if you’re looking to live in a huge and fancy 20th century house, then our family will not for you. Our home is pretty simple as we are a family and we want an aupair to love and respect our home and family. Our house has 3 bedrooms, a medium size backyard and basement where my daughter plays and do all her learning. Your room is in the attic and you'll have the entire floor of privacy with your personal toilet.

My current aupair is from Russia and is great with my 3 year old in terms of reading, teaching and playing so you can speak with her about our family. We hope to have another aupair like her or better as she has brought some peace to our home and has made my daughter happy
