Hello!

We are a family of four with a dog, a cat and chickens. My name is Julia, am a 37 years old half french, half american girl. I live in catalunya since 14 years and am a yoga teacher. My partner is catalan but he grew up in the USA, he's a 44 years old blacksmith and has his workshop in the village near by the house. He makes tones of cool stuff like knives, furnitures, and all kind of fine metal works (there's the option to spend a few hours in the workshop with him if interested). We have two kids, a little boy that is 4 years old old and my partner's daughter that is 10 years old that doesn't live full time with us. During the summer, she usually is here one week, and then week out and one week back again.

The area is beautiful near the natural parc of Montseny, plenty of mountains to hike and rivers to swim in! We spend the summer in a small village public pool that is very quiet and beautiful. Beach is also 30mn away by car.

If you want to move around much you would need to have your own vehicle, car will be preferible but if you are a passionate bicicle person it's also an option! But you can also get a ride from us when we go to town.
Our village is 10mn away by car, 15mn away you have a larger city and 5 mn by car from the house you have the train station (direct train to barcelona is a 50mn ride).

The idea is that you would live a in a caravane and have access to the yurt to hang out whevener I don't teach my yoga classes (usually I only use it twice a week). The caravane has a bathtub, a small kitchen and a bed. The bathroom is a dry toilet a few meters out from the caravane.

We come from many years of living in community and we are happy to be sharing some more! We speak four languages catalan, spanish, english and french!

Our idea would be for someone to stay for at least the month of August but we can consider july and august! Work hours are around 30 hours per week in exchange for food and accomodation and a small money apportation!

We provide the food and a nice place to sleep and we expect the Au Pair to participate in the cooking and cleaning of the kitchen with us (help cooking, cleaning the dishes, etc) :)
