Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello!

Greetings from Illinois!

We are a family of 5, with my wife Marina and I along with our 3 beautiful kids (Sutherland-7, Arlie-5, Clay-3).

We live in the lovely, pristine & safe city of Saint Charles, Illinois located in the wonderful Tri-City area of Illinois which is a suburb just west of Chicago (about 45 minute drive into the city). There is also a train station about 20 minutes from our door that can take you right into Chicago. Our house is a few minutes drive from stores/restaurants and about a 15 minute drive into downtown Saint Charles. We are also a very bike friendly town.

I work a lot of hours as a TV producer so my wife needs some extra help with our 3 kids. They each go to school & preschool most days of the week but we have lots of sports, activities, etc that keep us very busy. Would be great to find someone who loves spending time with our kids & our family to help us get through the day!

We have a large home with lots of amenities (gym, movie theatre, etc) and we have a private room & bathroom ready for our au pair.

We have 3 dogs and a cat so any applicant would have to like pets.

We would also like someone who is open to travel as we often would like the applicant to join us on various trips & vacations.

We don't have a specific timetable to start but would like to have someone soon if possible.

We want a English/Spanish speaker to help our kids learn Spanish.

Job Description

We mainly just expect our au pair to love playing and spending time with our children. Also teaching them how to be responsible, polite and respectful.

We want our au pair to speak Spanish to our kids but to also have a strong proficiency in English as Dad and the kids don't speak Spanish much currently.

We need our au pair to be a strong swimmer. We would prefer our au pair to have first aid training. We would also prefer our au pair to be comfortable driving a car.
