Dear Future Au Pair,

We are delighted at the thought of welcoming you into our family. This is a very exciting time for us, as we are expecting our first baby in November. We live in central Tokyo together with our Rough Collie, a gentle and affectionate dog who looks just like Lassie. After the birth, we will be relocating to Singapore, so this will be a chance to experience life in both Japan and Singapore with us.

Our hope is to find someone who will not only help us with the practical side of caring for our baby, supporting with housework, and looking after our dog, but also enjoy being part of our lively, international household. We love good food, music, conversation, and technology, and we look forward to sharing those experiences with you.

Job Description

We are looking for an au pair to support us as we welcome our baby and balance family life with work and daily routines. The role includes:
• Helping to care for the baby after the birth.
• Supporting with light housework and simple cooking.
• Walking and caring for our Rough Collie dog.

You will have your own room and space, and the chance to experience everyday life in Tokyo and, later, Singapore. We are looking for someone caring, dependable, and flexible, who enjoys being part of a family household with both a newborn and a dog.
