Dear future au pair,

we are very happy that you are interested in our family! We are Katrin, Stefan and our three children Amaya (15 years old), Noah (10 years old) and Paul (1.5 years old). We live in a quiet part of Stuttgart in the south of Germany.

I, Katrin, am a self-employed optician and my husband Stefan works as a qualified engineer. Since we both work full-time and Amaya has a lot to do for school, we are looking for support for our little Paul and help with Noah's homework.

We are an active family and like to spend our free time in nature - whether it's hiking or gardening. On the weekends we often visit our family, who live a little further north in Germany.

Since we sometimes don't have enough time for all of our everyday tasks, we would like a loving, responsible au pair who can help us with the household and look after the children. It would be great if you already speak German so that you can communicate well with the children.

What we offer you:

Your tasks (approx. 25-30 hours per week):
• Looking after Paul when he is not in kindergarten
• Helping with Noah's homework
• Light household tasks (e.g. tidying up the kitchen after meals, preparing school sandwiches, occasional tidying up, cleaning once a week)

The working time consists of about 70% housework and 30% childcare.

We already have experience with au pairs from various countries such as Kenya, Ethiopia, Cameroon and China. Everyone has used the time well to learn German and make initial contacts. Some of them did a year of social work after their au pair time and later started an apprenticeship. We are happy to support you with your plans for the future - the important thing is that you are committed and hardworking.
