Work abroad in Luca's family for 6-9 Months starting from Aug 2026 as an Au Pair and Nanny to take care of 2 children of 0 - 1 year old & 1 - 5 years old in The Hague, South Holland Netherlands

Hello!

We are a warm, international family living in The Hague, Netherlands, and we’re excited to welcome an au pair into our home as part of our family!

I am Luca, 34 yrs old, from Rome, Italy and Monica, my wife, she is 34 yrs old from Madrid, Spain. We have one young child, 1.5 years old, and a new baby arriving in February 2026. We are looking for someone kind, caring, and full of positive energy who can support us in our daily routine and help introduce our children to Spanish or Italian, as we would love them to grow up with a love for languages and other cultures.

At home, we speak both Spanish and English, and we love to cook — especially Italian and Spanish food. We also follow a structured daily routine for our children, especially for meals and sleeping schedules, which helps keep everything calm and predictable. With our baby, we practice baby-led weaning, encouraging independence and exploration with food.

We often host friends from all over the world, and our home is open, multicultural, and full of joy and curiosity. You’ll find yourself in a very welcoming and social environment, where cultural exchange is part of daily life.

? Your Room & Our Home
The room is fully furnished with a comfortable bed, a desk and chair for studying or working, a wardrobe for your belongings and has a large window and a lovely city view.
We have one main bathroom with a toilet and shower, which you will share with our family, plus an additional separate toilet for extra convenience. We want you to feel at home and have your own personal space to relax and recharge.

We take good care of our home and like to keep it clean and pleasant — one of our habits is to walk inside without shoes, like our baby.

We consider our location very good:
10 minutes walking to the city center, 5 by bike.
10 minutes by tram 2 or 4 from The Hague Central Station
15 minutes by bike or tram 11 to the seaside
Gym just 2 minutes walking from home
Biggest market in the Netherlands only 10 minutes away by bike
45 minutes to Schiphol Airport
30 minutes to Rotterdam city center
45 minutes to Amsterdam city center

As a family, we enjoy walks in the parks, spending time at the beach, doing sports, and enjoying everything our beautiful city has to offer.

We’re looking for an au pair who truly enjoys being with young children, understands the importance of routine, and sees this experience not just as a job but as a true cultural exchange. You’ll have your own private space, delicious food, and plenty of free time to explore the Netherlands — all while becoming part of a loving and respectful home.
