Work abroad in Tiffany's family for 1-24 Months starting from Jul 2024 as an Au Pair to take care of 2 children of 0 - 1 year old & 1 - 5 years old in New York City, New York USA

Hello! We are a young Catholic family who would love to welcome an au pair who would like to experience living just 10 minutes away from Manhattan, New York City. We have daughters ages 2.5 years old and 5 months old. They are sweet, playful, and will make you smile all the time. Being a big sister to them, you will be a part of our family. We can cook together, eat meals together, decorate and celebrate holidays and feast days together. Our toddler loves to play all day and learns very quickly so we would love if you are playful and creative too. We are looking for an au pair who is genuinely kind-hearted, empathetic, energetic, and positive, who can be a good role model for our toddler.

Our family consists of Tiffany (27), David (29), and two daughters. We are American but we also speak German, and David also speaks Polish. We both lived in Germany for 7 years and that is actually where we met, while both studying at university. Tiffany was born and raised in New York City and David grew up in Chicago.

We are a warm, positive, creative, and caring family. We love nature, gardening, photography, interior design, crafting, cooking, architecture, traveling to different cities, etc. We try to make our home feel like a place of relaxation where we can create joyful memories. We also often take our daughters out to experience enriching activities on the weekends like hiking, sledding, aquariums, zoos, Catholic pilgrimage shrines, etc. Catholicism is central to our lives so our ideal au pair would also be Catholic too.

Our daughter is very playful, full of joy, affectionate, adventurous, and sweet. She loves being outside in the sun, playing at the beach, and the playground. She also spends a lot of time drawing, playing with her toys, and loves reading books together. We care very much about early childhood development, and the psychological and emotional wellbeing of children, so if you care about this too, we would be a great match.

If you are good at cooking homemade meals and if organic food is important to you, we could be a great match because we eat mostly organic food and get our food fresh from a farm every week.

You are able to spend your free time going where you would like with very easy public transportation to Manhattan in 10 minutes is outside our door. You can also spend your free time with us if you would like, some weekends we travel to other US states. Additionally, there are a lot of young adult events in Manhattan that you can go to, or au pair groups here for you so you have the opportunity to make friends!
