Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello future au pair!

We are a small family based in Stockholm. Alexia used to be an au pair 10 years ago in Stockholm and is originally from Australia. Nils is from Stockholm.

We are looking for someone over the summer (specifically weeks 30 - 34) to care for our daughter (6 years old) whilst we are at work.

We are looking for someone already based in Sweden and can legally work in Sweden.

It would be great if you could care for our wonderful daughter over specified weeks.

We hope you can be part of our family for a short while.

Job Description

We just require that our daughter is entertained so she is not watching tv all day. It’s really important to us that she goes outside and enjoys nature.

She speaks fluent Swedish and English. So it's important you can communicate with her.

She needs some help to be dropped off or picked up from her activities around Stockholm.

Might be required to make/buy some lunch for her and yourself.

Organise activities to do on days she doesn't have stuff planned.

One of the weeks will require more childcare than the others due to no activities being available. It could be really fun for her and you to visit places together like museums or parks. This is where you will be required to think on your feet and be independent.

Accommodation

Aupair will have their own private room and bathroom. Very modern and fresh. There is a nice view of the trees from the big windows and the room has 3m heigh ceilings. There is a small fridge, coffee machine and tea kettle available. If you want to heat food or cook you are welcome to use our kitchen.

We normally rent this place out on airbnb and are happy to send pictures.
