Dear Future Au Pair,

Thank you for visiting our profile! We’re a warm and welcoming family living in the beautiful town of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, and we’re currently looking for a kind, responsible, and fun-loving au pair to join us from mid-June to mid-July.

We have two wonderful children—Louise (6) and Gabriel (5)—who are full of energy and imagination. They love playing with their friends and cousins, bouncing on the trampoline, swimming in the pool, and going to the park. They’re affectionate, curious, and always ready for fun.

A little about us: I work as the General Manager of International Expansion at a successful startup and mostly work from home. My husband is an architect who travels to his Paris agency two days a week. As a family, we love cooking, biking through the countryside, and hosting relaxed summer dinners and garden parties with friends.

We live in a spacious three-story house with a large garden and pool—perfect for sunny summer days. You’ll have your own space on the third floor, where we have a bright and comfortable 30m² guest bedroom (which also serves as the kids’ playroom during the day) and your own private shower. You’ll have both privacy and a sense of belonging as part of our family.

We're looking for someone to take care of the kids during the day, three days a week in July (or every morning to be discussed) , as well as to spend time with them after school in June and on weekends. A big part of this experience will be language exchange—we hope you’ll help Louise and Gabriel improve their English, and in return, they’ll be thrilled to teach you some French!

We see this as a meaningful cultural experience, and we’ll treat you as part of our family during your stay. At the same time, you’ll have plenty of freedom to organize your own activities and enjoy everything Provence has to offer.

There’s just one big non-negotiable rule in our house: no screens for the kids. We strongly believe in creativity, outdoor play, books, and real-life interaction—and we hope you’ll embrace that too.

If you're interested, your stay could possibly be extended until the end of July at my sister’s home in a nearby town. She has a beautiful big house with a pool, two lovely boys (ages 8 and 4), and lives in a stunning countryside setting.
