Dear Au Pair,

We’re excited about the possibility of welcoming you into our family this Southern Hemisphere summer in Tandil, Argentina. We are a family of four: two energetic girls (8 and 7), their mother, and their father. The parents live separately but maintain a close and friendly relationship. The girls spend time in both homes, which are located within the same gated neighbourhood on the outskirts of Tandil - a peaceful area about 15 minutes by car from the city centre.

We enjoy an active lifestyle, including sports, reading, and spending time outdoors, especially in the pool during the summer. We speak Spanish at home, and we’re hoping to improve our English through this experience.

Your role will be to care for and engage with the girls in English - playing, organising activities, helping with meals, and accompanying them to outings. You'll work 35 hours per week. Light household help is expected, mainly in shared spaces.

We offer:
- A private room and full board at the mother's house.
- 600 USD/month allowance.
- Round-trip airfare and transport to/from Buenos Aires.
- Health insurance.
- Mobile service.
- Up to 100 USD/month for Spanish lessons (optional).

During your stay (ideally December/January to February/March), we may travel - mostly to Buenos Aires - and we’d love for you to join us.

Descrizione del Lavoro

The Au Pair will care for and accompany two girls, aged 8 and 7, during their summer holidays (December/January to February/March), working 35 hours per week. Key responsibilities include:
- Organising creative and outdoor activities while speaking exclusively in English.
- Engaging in English conversation with the girls and family members to support language practice.
- Assisting with meals and accompanying the girls to and from activities.
- Providing light help to keep shared areas tidy.
- Occasionally feeding or walking a small dog.

Valuable Skills:
- Fluent English (native or near-native) is essential, as all interaction with the girls should be in English.
- Experience with children, especially in play-based learning or teaching.
- Teaching English to young learners or families is highly valued but not required.
- Creativity, energy, and initiative to plan fun, engaging, and educational activities.
- Kindness, patience, and a warm, friendly personality.
- A love for the outdoors and an active lifestyle.
- A valid driver’s licence would be helpful, but is not required.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys being with children, loves sharing their language and culture, and fits well into a family setting.

The Au Pair will be hosted in the mother’s home, where she will have a private bedroom. She will share a bathroom with the two girls. The house is comfortable, quiet, and fully equipped, including reliable Wi-Fi. All meals will be provided by the family.
