Dear future host family, I am a sociology student in his third and last year to obtain his bachelor's degree. I am 20 years old (as of October 2023), and I've more or less self-learned English by reading exclusively in English starting from around 2019 (with that said, it shouldn't come as a surprise that I love reading).

With all the time I've spent reading in English, I'm confident in my ability to read it. As for writing, I might have some spelling errors here and there but they should be minimal.

However I may have some difficulties when it concerns spoken English whether I'm the one listening or speaking because of the pronunciation and the accent.

I do not smoke and only drink rarely for big occurences.

As for why I plan to be an Au pair, it's because I aim to become an English teacher in either middle or high school so I need to perfect my English since by being French, my pronunciation is far from being so.
