Hello future host family!
My name is Leia and I am 18 years old at the moment, and I live in Sweden, Gothenburg. . As I am writing this I am still in High school and will graduate in June this year. I am reading the social science program and I really enjoy it, especially reading english and social study. In my spare time I enjoy being with my family that includes me, my dog Nero, my dad, my stepmom and her two kids, one aged 12 and one 7. When I am not with family I´m with friends, me and my friends like to play tennis together, watch movies and listen to music.
The biggest reason I want to become an Au Pair is of course taking care of children, I find it amazing seeing them develop in to their personalities, building a bond together and most importantly having fun.
I have always had a dream of having a big family and that is why I am now turning to becoming an Au Pair, I get to do my job while having the time of my life. Then there´s the travel aspect, I really love France and would someday want to move there as well. Therefore being an Au Pair there would heal me both ways, taking care of children in my dream country.
I am a very easy going girl and I am always up for a challenge, I am not easily irritated and If something were to happen I would try to sort it out the calmest way possible. I would say I am very mature for my age and that I am grateful for.
Experience wise I have babysat in Sweden before, I have babysat my step siblings when they where smaller, I Have also babysat a girl from a babysitting app called "Babysit" and I worked at an amusementpark hotel, called Liseberg Grand Curiosa where I engaged and met with children all the time.
