Aina (20), Tedesca, Studente attualmente in Germania cerca lavoro come Au Pair in Spagna per 2-5 mesi

Dear Host Family,
I already am so excited to meet you, but firstly I’d love to introduce myself.
My name is Aina, I’m 19 years old and currently still live with my parents in a village near Munich. Munich is also where I was born and raised. This summer I am going to graduate from secondary school. After finishing my ‚Abitur‘ (the equivalent to A-Levels) I would love to spend between (approx.) 2 and 5 months gathering experience as an Au Pair! I want to use the time before starting university to get to know a different country, its culture and people. I have always enjoyed getting to know new faces and loved travelling.
Together with my parents, my younger sister, a cat and a dog I am living in a house surrounded by nature but still only a 20-minute train ride from the city. Because of my dog Penny, who is a 3-year-old cavapoo, I’m spending time outside every single day without fail, which I’m absolutely loving! Being outside in general and exploring is one of my favourite things to do!
A few years ago, in year 9 in school, I did an apprenticeship in a nursery school and discovered my love for helping, teaching, working with and looking after children in a more professional way. I started coaching children aged 3 to 10 in a children’s ball sports school which appeared to be an incredible opportunity for me and I fell in love with my job. My responsibilities involved not only teaching them the fundamentals of various sports, but also creating a nurturing and engaging environment for their overall development. I trained them in age-appropriate activities and games that not only enhanced their physical abilities but also promoted team work, communication and sportsmanship.
Three years ago, I started working at another sports club as a coach for children in the summer half-term and summer holiday camps. Here I helped children learn how they can improve their coordination, balance and motor skills while having fun. I also focused on sense of teamwork in group activities and encouraged mutual support! I think that this has taught me a lot about patience, empathy and effective communication. Especially understanding the importance of a positive and encouraging environment for children of different age groups.
Another aspect that has helped me majorly to develop supportiveness, understanding and respect is spending time with my younger sister and helping her in every possible way. As she is a disabled (tourette syndrome and ADHD) person, living with her has taught me a lot about responsibility, patience and children with special needs. I have developed an instinct for finding quick solutions that help them to feel safe and seen. Being with her has really opened my eyes to how children can perceive the world differently and also how small changes can improve their every day life so much and give them courage and confidence.
I speak fluent English, which I started learning in school but have started to improve by myself from a very young age on due to personal interest. I also speak a bit of Spanish, which I have been learning in school for the last couple of years and will be graduating with level B1 this summer. And obviously I speak fluent German as it is my mother tongue :).
I enjoy trying out new things and am open to every new experience I can get. Here a few things I enjoy doing regularly: playing tennis, skiing, reading, swimming, bouldering, hiking, horse back riding (which I did regularly between age 6 and 17) and all things creative like drawing or crocheting! I love spending time outside as well as spending time with family, friends and every possible animal.
