Hi, I'm Fi. I'm from the UK but have EU citizenship so I have the opportunity to live and work in the EU.

I graduated from university 2 years ago, where I studied Liberal Arts and Sciences with German as a focus. I spent one year of my degree living and studying in Freiburg-im-Breisgau in Germany, where I rapidly improved my German fluency. I also spent 4 months doing a ski season in Austria after graduating.

Since then, however, I haven't had the chance to speak much German or be surrounded by it. I would love to be an au pair because I would appreciate the opportunity to expand my knowledge of German even more and to take part in the cultural exchange that au pairing offers. Although I want to bring my German back and improve it again, I do not think a language course would be particularly necessary for me.

As a native English speaker, I can offer my help to practice with and teach English to your children. I have experience running creative arts workshops with children, as well as tutoring a younger pupil in German while studying for my A Levels (equivalent of the Abitur) at school. While on my ski season, I worked as a chalet host and ski guide, I therefore have experience cleaning a large space and leading a group of people on my own in the mountains.
