Hi! My name is Anna, I am a senior graduating from the University of Vermont this spring (2024) with a Bachelor's in Social Work. I have spent the last seven years working with children in many different settings and feel very comfortable working with all ages and genders.
I would love to become an Au Pair because I enjoy working with children, and I know that I possess qualities that would make me an easy person to add to your family! I am incredibly organized; both in my space and within my personality. I love trying new things, am easily motivated, and am extroverted.
Almost all of my careers so far have centered around children so I am fully equipped to work with your child/children. I started babysitting when I was 13 years old. At 16, I moved from my home in Virginia to a summer camp in Canada where I worked alongside nine other staff members to run the children's program. When I began University, I started volunteering with a program called DREAM. DREAM is a non-profit that works to bring high-quality mentoring to at-promise youth through village mentoring. I spent a couple of summers while in college nannying for various families both in my hometown in Virginia and my college town in Vermont. During the summer of 2022, I left Virginia to work on a dude ranch in Wyoming. On the ranch, I worked with two other staff members to run and organize weekly activities for children ages 0-16. This year for my internship, I am interning at the Boys and Girls Club of America which is an afterschool space students aged 10-15 can come to for support and fun!
