Arbeite als Au Pair im Ausland in Giulianas Familie für 6-9 Monate ab Jan. 2024 zur Betreuung von 2 Kindern von 11-14 Jahre in Genova, Liguria Italien.

The commitment we ask of the au pair is to help us in the daily management of the children. We need the au pair to look after the children while we are at work, either by helping them with their homework as much as possible, taking them to the beach or the park or organising activities with them. It may occasionally be necessary to prepare meals for the children. Marco normally comes home from work around 6 p.m., I come home around 7 p.m. On Saturdays and Sundays we are always at home, so we can organise activities together (we are very pleased that the au pair participates in family life, because we also interpret this experience as a cultural exchange) or she/he can take advantage of it to organise excursions on her own.This adventure is a reciprocal exchange for us, so it is important that the au pair does not consider us just a vacation base by staying at home only the bare minimum: there are many opportunities to make friends, and there will certainly be no shortage of opportunities to socialize with peers, but we would also like there to be sharing with the family, spending time together, perhaps over dinner, so that we can bond.
English is very important to us, the children speak it a little bit, but I want them to be able to use it in everyday life and learn it better and better, it is therefore important that the au pair has a very good knowledge of this language.
Marco speaks English very well, so there will be no communication difficulties with him; unfortunately I speak very little English. :-(
We do not require the au pair any housework, just that keeping their room tidy and clean.
