Brief an die Gastfamilie

Hello families,

My name is Marina, but you can call me Meryn! I am 21 years old and I come from the beautiful city of Barcelona, Spain, I am currently in my last year at university doing a degree in advertising and public relations, once I finish in june, I want to start my year as an Au Pair and I would love yo take care of your little ones!!!! I have a lot of experience with children of all ages (2-15 years old), that's because I have worked in two schools as a monitor and I have also been a nanny for several families.
My interests include exploring the outdoors, going for walks, photography, the beach, surfing, reading, travel, cooking....

I want to find a family in which I am considered a member. Communication, respect and trust are very important to me.

I would like to start in August/September (although I am flexible with dates) and have availability from 6 to 12 months (preferably a long term).

Betreuungserfahrungen

I have had the privilege of working with children in a variety of settings, which has given me extensive experience in childcare. During my time at two schools in Barcelona, John Talabot and Peter Pan, I had the responsibility of caring for and supervising children between the ages of 4 and 15. This experience allowed me to deal with both toddlers and adolescents, which gave me a comprehensive perspective on the needs and dynamics of different age groups.

In addition to my work in schools, I have also been a babysitter. Most recently, I took care of 18-month-old twins, an experience that demanded organizational skills, patience and specialized care. In addition, I have babysat for my younger cousins for a long time, which has allowed me to develop a special connection with the children and a deep understanding of their emotional and care needs.

As a monitor, I have had the opportunity to lead recreational and educational activities for children of various ages. This experience has allowed me to develop effective communication, teamwork and group management skills, as well as the ability to adapt to the individual needs of each child.
