My name is Lilymay, I am 21 years old, and I am from the United Kingdom but am currently living in Fiji. I am thrilled at the opportunity to potentially become an Au Pair with your family, as it combines my passion for working with children with my love for exploring new cultures.


Why I Want to Become an Au Pair:

Having recently graduated from university, I see this as the perfect time to explore living in a different place before starting a full-time job. I want to embark on a personal adventure, try new things, and immerse myself in another culture. Being an Au Pair offers an amazing opportunity to do just that.
Through this role, I can gain valuable childcare experience while making a positive impact on your children’s lives, but also yours, encouraging a supportive atmosphere. I look forward to learning about your home and culture directly from your family, which is extremely valuable, and will allow me to truly immerse myself in the experience. Essentially, this role combines meaningful work with personal growth in a supportive family environment—an ideal blend of adventure and purpose.


Why You Should Host Me:

I am an energetic, creative, and responsible person with a genuine love for working with children. While I do not have specific experience as an Au Pair, I have babysitting experience with children aged 5 upwards, and have also been involved in other activities such as coaching youth sports teams of all ages. I am very active and enjoy playing a variety of sports, which allows me to engage with children in fun, physical activities. Additionally, I have a strong interest in the arts, including music (I play the piano and guitar) and love to encourage creativity and exploration in children.
Furthermore, during my A-level studies in English Language, I learnt about children’s language development, how they learn to speak and write. This gave me valuable insight into how children process and acquire new skills. I believe this understanding can be beneficial to your children’s learning journey, whether it’s helping them with schoolwork or encouraging their communication and expression.


Why I Qualify for the Position:

I am highly organised and dependable, with the ability to balance childcare, household tasks, and other responsibilities effectively. I can cook and clean confidently, ensuring that your home runs smoothly while your children are well cared for. My enthusiasm, patience, and ability to adapt to new situations make me well-suited for this position.
