Dear Host Family,
my name is Maike, I’m a student from Bavaria, Germany, currently studying to become a teacher. I would love to become an Au Pair because I want to gain international experience and get to know a new country and culture from a personal and everyday-life perspective.
I consider myself an empathetic and friendly person who is always in a good mood. I enjoy spending time with children, whether playing, helping with homework, or just being part of their day. I would be very happy to support your family in daily life.
I also have plenty of experience: I work at an after-school program with secondary school children, did internships at schools, and have looked after young children many times as a babysitter. I’m confident that I can be a caring and reliable support for your family.

Experience

Although I haven't officially worked as an Au Pair yet, I have several years of experience working with children in different age groups. I've supported schoolchildren in their daily routines, helped with homework, and taken care of younger kids.

Becoming an Au Pair abroad gives me the opportunity to combine two things I love: working with children and discovering new cultures. I look forward to building a connection with a host family and experiencing everyday life in another part of the world.
