Hello family! I'm Nerea and I'm 25 years old. I come from a coastal city in Spain, but I've never been in the same place since I was 18.

After graduating from university, I came to Ireland to work in a nursery school, and although I love my job, after two years, I decided to change the course of my life a bit.

I'm currently the Room Leader for a class of eight 3-year-olds, although I've also worked as a teacher with children ages 1 to 6. I love helping children discover their own autonomy and the world around them; I love my profession.

However, I also love learning languages, as I come from a fairly multicultural family, and in the future, I'd like to dedicate myself to teaching Spanish. To achieve this, I'll be studying an online master's degree during the 2025/26 academic year.

While studying, I'd like to stay connected with my profession and passion for helping children, while also learning a language I've somewhat forgotten. I've always been passionate about French culture and would like to experience it firsthand.

As I've already mentioned, I have a lot of experience living away from home sharing space with different people from different cultures. I'm currently living with a single-parent Irish family, and the experience is very positive. In addition, in my job, I provide for the children's basic needs, such as feeding them, cleaning their classrooms and bathrooms, and communicating effectively with the families for the little ones' well-being. I'm a fairly calm and positive person. I enjoy walking, listening to music, playing sports, and reading. I love being outdoors and cooking!

After my stay at Aun Pair, I will return to Spain to finish my master's degree.
